Lincoln or Leland Stanford?
[edit]The article mentions and links to the Anti-Coolie Act of 1862 signed into law by Abraham Lincoln. But the target page discusses a state, not a federal law (see the content dispute I just put up there, as well as the relevant discussion at Talk:Anti-Coolie_Act). Additionally, Google suggests the CA law was signed into law by California Governor Leland Stanford, not Lincoln. I will try to do some work to untangle this later if I get a chance. Does anyone have further information about this and could provide some clarification?

- Linked a citation to an academic article that suggests that it was in fact Lincoln who signed it into law. https://doi.org/10.1093/oso/9780197580080.003.0006. Anekc11 (talk) 18:19, 27 September 2023 (UTC)
